It's your first day of work at Del Mundo Tower, the unusually tall structure you've always noticed jutting out from the rest of the city. It was home to several well-known companies, one of which you have managed to get a job in. Since you didn't want to make a bad impression, you decided to start the commute early. Thankfully, all you needed to take was one jeepney ride, albeit a bit on the long side.
You've noticed it was rather peaceful in the jeepney, partly because it wasn't the noisy type, and partly because there weren't many people at the time. In fact, you had room to sit sideways, letting you face the driver's seat as the vehicle made its way through its route.
There wasn't anything of note with most of the passengers inside the jeepney, except a certain unkempt man with a small backpack.
He was sitting near the end away from the driver, and while his backpack seemed to be almost empty, he appeared to be holding it securely. You have seen these kinds of people before, and while you've gathered that he was simply one of those construction workers, something seemed to compel you to wonder where he was going.
